Firstly, MEGA is by no means a perfect service. It has flaws. I would say that generally speaking however, 8/10 times in daily use, what I expect and what I get are the same thing; my files accessible, and at a reasonable speed. OK, now to list the problems that occur 2/10 times I use MEGA
Reply Actually... says: 2019/05/29 at 07:19 In fact, a mid 19th Century telegraphist is simply not able to transfer your files faster using Morse code than Mega, a cloud storage and file hosting service offered by Mega Limited, an Auckland-based company, as simply even loading the landing page containing the link to the downloadable file would require inhuman amount of work and hours of input and transmission of Morse code from the aforementioned telegraphist to transmit the data contained within the download page to you to achieve even remotely comparable results, thus revealing the lingering fact that just because you lack the technological know-how to operate a personal computer in an acceptable fashion does not mean that the internet service Mega Limited, an Auckland-based company provides would ultimately be lackluster or unusable by the average user.
However, if you need more storage than the free plan offers, MEGA’s prices can be prohibitive. You may be better off with a service like Sync.com, which offers much of MEGA’s functionality at a lower price and without the attached controversy.
MEGA has an easy-to-use mobile app; however, it’s lacking some basic functionality. One small issue with the app is that there is no “back” button, meaning that whenever you open a menu, you have to click away and then reopen the app from the taskbar. That can get annoying really fast if you have a lot of work to do in the app.
The main draw of MEGA is its excellent free plan that comes with 20GB of storage and a generous transfer quota. Additionally, MEGA has four paid plans and a separate business plan.
